JOU 9712 (Summer 2013)   Introduction to Television Journalism

Course Description
This introductory course covers the fundamentals of television journalism, both theoretical and practical. Stress is laid on professional issues, standards and traditions. Combined with Core Media courses 9713 and 9714  students will gain practical experience of reporting, news writing and editing in all three media in three separate rotations within the first term of the program.
