Future Graduate Students

Graduate study at FIMS is unique.

The Faculty of Information and Media Studies offers an innovative suite of graduate programs that share a common ethos of engaged scholarship and practice. Students study the emerging and historical information society, new communication industries, technologies, and media cultures. At FIMS these issues are not separate.

What do our students say they like about FIMS?

The Faculty has become a hub for investigating contemporary topics such as: access to information, social media and big data, the changing role of journalism and communication in an attention economy, knowledge organization and power, and the politics of mass communication and culture.
