FIMS 9606   Special Topic: Critical Utopias

Course Description
Students in this course will learn about ongoing debates in two progressive traditions—marxism and queer theory—about ideal societies, and about whether it’s a good idea to spend time thinking about ideal societies at all, when the one in which we find ourselves is so far from ideal.
