Course Description
These days we spend a lot of time working at crafting versions of our ‘selves’ for public consumption on our facebook profiles, twitter feeds, blogs, youtube channels, and tumblrs. These developments have lead to a new kind of  ‘attention’ and ‘reputation economy’ online. In this age of ‘surveillance chic’, people can actually generate revenue just from having large networks of friends, followers, or subscribers, but who really gets rich in the end?
