Course Description
Internet memes are more than just cute pictures of cats with silly captions – they're arguably one of the most important ways we communicate with each other online. This course explores the history and development of internet memes and critically examines their meaning and impact in modern society.

Antirequisites: MIT 3652G if taken in 2014-2015 or MIT 3652F if taken in 2019- 2020, 2020-2021.
