Course Description
Whiteness as a social and political structure holds significant power in North America. How do scholars understand whiteness as a structure and how does it shape our lives and life chances? This course explores the pervasiveness of whiteness and the outcomes it creates for Indigenous people and other marginalized populations.

Prerequisites: Registration in fourth year of an Honours Specialization module in FIMS, or permission of the instructor. Note: Enrolment is based on a ballot system which is submitted prior to course registration.
