Course Description

THE POLITICS AND PRACTICE OF MAKERSPACES

This course explores the theory, culture, and practice of ‘maker spaces’, which are collaborative educational environments that allow participants to create, build, and learn new projects and technologies.  We will undertake a selected history of DIY and maker cultures while building things through low-tech, physical, and hands-on learning.
