Dispatches from the Place of Imminence: a blog from Ukraine
Professor Svitlana Matviyenko, a former FIMS instructor and a recent research collaborator with Professor Nick Dyer-Witheford, is publishing a war blog from inside Ukraine. She is currently in her home town of Kamianets-Podilskyi, writing about what she is experiencing first-hand.
Professor Matviyenko, along with Professor Dyer-Witheford, co-wrote the 2019 book Cyberwar and Revolution: Digital Subterfuge in Global Capitalism. She is also a Western alumna and an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.
