2022 Joan Donaldson CBC News Scholarship recipients

The Joan Donaldson CBC News Scholarship is awarded to aspiring journalists from across the country. Over the course of 16 weeks, scholars get valuable hands-on experience in all areas of multi-platform news working in digital, radio and television.
One of this year's Joan Donaldson CBC News Scholarship recipients is MMJC student Griffin Jaeger. Griffin is a multimedia journalist born and raised in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Griffin's love for storytelling began at an early age. He started speaking at the age of one and hasn't stopped. As a youngster, he enjoyed writing silly storybooks. Soon after, Griffin discovered his passion for theatre. His curiosity and drive to find and tell compelling storylines within everyday life began on the stage.
