Melissa Kargiannakis wins Queen's Young Leaders Award

The award recognizes people aged 18-29 who are doing exceptional things and making a difference in their communities.  Awards are presented to young people around the Commonwealth.

As a recipient, Melissa will receive a package of training, mentoring and networking, including a one-week residential programme in the UK.  While there, she will collect her award from the Queen.

From 2000 applicants, there were 60 winners from across the Commonwealth and only 3 Canadians.
