Kaitlyn McGrath named 2014 Joan Donaldson CBC News Scholar

This is the third year in a row that a Western MAJ student has won the award. Kaitlyn will receive a $2,000 cash reward and valuable work experience during an intensive four-month paid internship at CBC Newsworld. This past year, Kaitlyn has had her work featured in the Western Gazette and on the campus radio station, CHRW. In January, she completed a six-week internship at the Globe & Mail in Toronto where she reported on local news.
