In Memoriam

Sadly, we’ve mourned three members of the FIMS community who were lost over the last several months:

Natasha Koziol
Natasha Koziol, a long-time limited-duties instructor in the LIS program, passed away on Monday, January 14 after a lengthy struggle with illness.  Natasha is survived by her children, Kurtis and Erika, and by her sisters.  Natasha’s obituary can be found at: http://www.yourlifemoments.ca/sitepages/obituary.asp?oId=673738

Chinyere Okonkwoh
The FIMS community remembers Master of Health Information Science student Chinyere (Chi-Chi) Okonkwoh, who died Sunday, March 24, at her home in Nigeria after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Sonnie Okonkwoh; son, David Kelechi Okonkwoh; and mother, Dorothy Ijomah. Our sincere condolences go out to the Okonkwoh family during a difficult time.

Robert Chilvers
Rob Chilvers, a regular limited-duties instructor in the MIT program for almost a decade, passed away April 22, after a sustained battle with cancer. Rob is survived by his wife, Nancy, their son, Jordan, and daughter, Samantha. Our most sincere condolences are expressed to the Chilvers family.
