Internships
The required internship component of the MMJC program is your chance to put your skills to work in a professional setting, make industry connections, and build up your resume and portfolio. Students will start applying to internships in the first or second terms, but aren't expected to be in a placement until the third term (Summer term).
Length and Timing
The length and start date of internships will vary, based on the requirements of each placement, but the minimum duration required to graduate is four weeks of full-time work. The third term of the program is designed to be flexible enough to accommodate any internship opportunity you may encounter. Internships may be both paid or unpaid positions.
Students do not need to be onsite in London for the third term, but will still need to complete their remaining course requirements, which include two online, asychronous classes (Business Essentials, plus one elective).
Over the years students have landed many amazing internship positions, including internationally. So don't be afraid to aim high when it's time to start thinking about where you might explore opportunities.
