Graduation Requirements

12 month, course-based MHIS program

To complete the course-based MHIS program, students are required to successfully complete 5 required courses plus an additional 2 elective courses.

  • HIS 9241 - Interdisciplinary Issues in Health Information Science
  • HEALTSCI 9601 - Quantitative/Qualitative Research Methods
  • FIMS 9325 – Introduction to Health Informatics
  • HEALTSCI 9623 - Perspectives in Knowledge Translation
