Katie Simpson is a prominent Canadian journalist, currently serving as a Washington-based foreign correspondent for CBC News (since 2019/2020), where she covers U.S. politics and international affairs. A Western University graduate (2006), she previously covered Parliament Hill in Ottawa and Toronto city hall, notably reporting on the Rob Ford scandal. She is recognized for her in-depth political reporting and bold, signature style.
