About the Lecture

The Asper Fellowship in Media at Western University (formerly the CanWest Global Fellowship) was established in 2006 through a donation from the CanWest Global Foundation.

The fellowship supports research, teaching and public engagement on Canadian media and journalism, with a focus on issues shaping the media industry in Canada. Fellows contribute to the academic community at Western University by teaching a course and sharing professional expertise while advancing research and public discussion on significant topics in Canadian media.

Appointments are for one term (four months) during the academic year.
