Instructor: A. Kjosen

Course Description

What is the link between speed and digital piracy? This course examines the commodity’s acceleration in terms of its production, distribution and consumption through a Marxist-Virilian framework and a series of case studies, including fast fashion, shopping, planned obsolescence in consumer electronics, anticipatory shipping, intermodal transportation, digital piracy and high-frequency financial trading.
