Course Description
In this class, we will explore how fabric has served as a medium of communication. Alongside our historical and theoretical inquiries, we will also  explore various ways of making cloth, including spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, quilting, and embroidery. Course work will incorporate clothmaking and critical assessment of historical examples of cloth that communicates.
