DIGICOMM 3307A/B   Special Topics in Digital Communication: Live Streaming: Theory and Practice

Course Description
Evolving technologies have made live-streaming digital content an increasing reality for broadcast professionals and amateur creators alike. This process has only accelerated as global lockdowns force us to work and play remotely, via video platforms like Zoom and Twitch. This course combines an overview of the social, economic, and technological foundations of live-streaming with a hands-on introduction to the popular platforms and best practices for building students’ own streaming channels.
