I am from the Walpole Island First Nation, with both Ojibway and Cree ancestry. I’m a graduate of Western with a BA in Film Studies and I have a MFA in Film Production from New York University, The Tisch School of the Arts. As an Indigenous woman, I create films that both inherently and overtly exemplify Indigenous culture. As a creative practitioner, I use my background in filmmaking to guide students in their journey of putting theory into practice.
