In fall 2009 I teach the third year undergraduate MIT course in Research Methods, and at the graduate level I also teach Research Methods, in the Media Studies program. Winter 2010 I teach Public Opinion as a third year MIT course, and Canadian Communication Thought as a 4th year MIT seminar.
Over the past couple of years I have published two books: Culture of Ecology (2006) reflects my continuing interest in the interface of media studies, economics and ecology/environment; Cultural Studies and Political Economy (2009) reflects my continuing interest in the history of theorizing communication/ media. Soon to appear from University of Toronto Press is Media, Structures, Power: The Robert E. Babe Collection, edited by Edward Comor.
Current research includes a book project on Harold Innis, and a book chapter on Theodor Adorno.
