Chantale Pard is a doctoral student in Library and Information Science at Western University and a practising Youth Services Librarian with Halifax Public Libraries. She is interested in the information practices of children and teens as they relate to public libraries, as well as information seeking behaviour in online communities, including fan culture and social media use.
