I'm a PhD candidate in Media Studies at the Western University. My research focusses on the intersection of gender, social media, and social movements. In the past, I concentrated on political speeches and the question of whether gender stereotypes impact our perceptions of verbal attacks.

I have a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Memphis, U.S., and a Magister Artium in Mass Communication from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.

I currently work as a Research Assistant on the DIY - Digital Informed Youth project, a study that looks at technology-facilitated sexual violence among Canadian youth. You can find out more about the project here: https://www.diydigitalsafety.ca/
