someone who has diabetes. Around two million Canadians live
with the disease. By 2015, that number is expected to
hit 3 million. We all know the devastating effects it can
have on someone’s health – especially if it goes untreated.
But if it strikes while you’re working, diabetes can affect
your career, your income, and the life you’re able to lead.
Sara Beck talks to people whose working lives have been
affected by diabetes and what they’re doing about it.
