Western's School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies provides students with a list of current external funding opportunities. Throughout the year, different external graduate scholarship programs are advertised, and the site is updated frequently to reflect current competitions and deadlines. SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS)
The Canada Graduate Scholarships Master’s program offers non-renewable twelve-month awards, valued at $17,500, and tenable only at recognized Canadian universities, to applicants who will be registered as full-time students at the master's level in a discipline supported by SSHRC. Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS)
The Ontario Graduate Scholarship program is designed to encourage excellence in graduate studies at the master’s and doctoral levels. An Ontario Graduate Scholarship is awarded for one academic year, which may consist of two or three consecutive terms. One-term awards are not granted.
