  Primary point of contact for faculty and staff on matters related to human resources and finance (non-research), including preparing contracts and appointment notices for part-time instructors, tutorial assistants, and other staff appointments; requisitions cheques for travel reimbursements; organizes Faculty events; prepares travel arrangements and calendars for the Dean and Associate Dean. Provides support to the FIMS program committees.

  Ensures overall effectiveness of the Faculty by managing the administrative responsibilities within the Dean’s Office. Leads staff in the Dean’s Office to ensure that senior FIMS administrators meet their overall goals and objectives. Provides support, advice and ensures decisions and actions taken are followed up and implemented successfully. Responsible staff management in the Dean’s Office; effective management of the FIMS general operating accounts; ensures that the Faculty is in compliance with its obligations under the collective bargaining agreements.
