About Me

My undergraduate degree was a specialization in anthropology, including sociocultural, bioarchaeological (skeletal forensics and paleoepidemiology), and primate conservation ecology. My fourth-year thesis was on Stephen Jay Gould (supervisor Dr. Regna Darnell). While I'm now working within the domains of Library and Information Science, the common thread through my work remains a deep interest in studying complex information ecologies and the factors of effective knowledge mobilization.

My current Ph.D. research explores sensemaking across modalities, the design of information environments that support sensemaking, and the interplay between the self, technology, and community in an information space.
