In Memoriam

Sadly, we’ve mourned three members of the FIMS community who were lost over the last several months:

Natasha Koziol
Natasha Koziol, a long-time limited-duties instructor in the LIS program, passed away on Monday, January 14 after a lengthy struggle with illness.  Natasha is survived by her children, Kurtis and Erika, and by her sisters.  Natasha’s obituary can be found at:

Chinyere Okonkwoh
The FIMS community remembers Master of Health Information Science student Chinyere (Chi-Chi) Okonkwoh, who died Sunday, March 24, at her home in Nigeria after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Sonnie Okonkwoh; son, David Kelechi Okonkwoh; and mother, Dorothy Ijomah. Our sincere condolences go out to the Okonkwoh family during a difficult time.

Robert Chilvers
Rob Chilvers, a regular limited-duties instructor in the MIT program for almost a decade, passed away April 22, after a sustained battle with cancer. Rob is survived by his wife, Nancy, their son, Jordan, and daughter, Samantha. Our most sincere condolences are expressed to the Chilvers family. Rob’s obituary can be found at:
