FIMS Prof releases new research report on Access Copyright proposed tariff and licenses

Authored by Samuel Trosow, Scott Armstrong and Brent Harasym, the paper has been posted in the Scholarship@Western repository at http://ir.lib.uwo.ca/fimspub/24/.

The report is critical of the Proposed Tariff for post-secondary institutions now pending before the Copyright Board as well as the related licenses including those signed earlier this year by UWO and the University of Toronto and the AUCC Model License.

Professor Trosow holds a joint appointment in FIMS and in the Faculty of Law and is a Principal Network Investigator in the Graphics, Animation and New Media (GRAND) NCE, which supported this research.  Scott Armstrong earned his J.D. and LL.M. from UWO and is currently practicing law in Toronto. Brent Harasym (J.D., M.A., B. Mus) is a recent Western Law graduate and is currently completing his articles in the Niagara region.
