We're here to assist FIMS undergraduate students in all matters of student life here at Western. Our staff are friendly, helpful and fun - we're people who really care about our students. We offer academic counselling with our two Academic Counsellors, additional program support with our Programs Assistant and a full-time staff member devoted to our internship program. Know that we're here to support you as a FIMS student and a valuable resource that is here to connect you to services and offering assistance while you're at Western.

If you are a current FIMS student, you can always reach us by e-mail at mit@uwo.ca. This e-mail address should be used by students who have questions, need a quick response or don't require an appointment. E-mail works best for quick questions but isn't appropriate for program planning, lengthy discussions or discussing confidential information.
NOTE: Effective July 2011, incoming e-mail directed to an Academic Counsellor's personal address will be re-redirected to the mailing list to ensure prompt response times and avoid duplication of e-mails to more than one staff member.
Appointments
If you'd like to schedule an appointment with one of our Academic Counsellors, please give us a call at
519-661-3542. Our Undergraduate Programs Assistant will take your call and offer assistance. When requesting an appointment time, please make sure that you provide as much information as possible at the time of booking. The more information you are able to provide when you call, the more prepared our Counsellors will be for your visit.
Please remember that seeking help from our office is a shared relationship. Counsellors are experts on policies and regulations and can help you navigate through your options. YOU, however, are ultimately responsible for decisions regarding your academic program.
