Western Courses
Completion of all first year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 68% in 5.0 courses, with a mark of at least 65% in each of Media, Information and Technoculture 1200F/G, 1500A/B, 1700F/G, and Writing 2121F/G. At least 1.0 course must be selected from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities or the Faculty of Science.
MTP students must include the following courses in their first-year program:
MIT 1200F/G Media in Society
MIT 1500A/B The Matter of Technology
MIT 1700F/G FYI: Information and Its Contexts
Writing 2121F/G Writing for MIT
