If accepted, is there any additional material that needs to be completed?

Prior to the start of the placement, interns will be asked to complete:

  1. an MIT Internship Contract
  2. a Risk Waiver Form

Interns going on an unpaid placement must complete a Work/Education Placement Agreement. Both forms are available through the Internship Office. All expenses related to the placement, including transportation, food, lodging etc., are the responsibility of the student.

More Questions?

Please see the MIT Internship Co-ordinator, Susan Weekes, in the North Campus Building, Room 230.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of résumé-writing assistance offered by the The Student Success Centre @ Western so that their résumés are clear and unambiguous. The Office of the Associate Dean will review résumés and cover letters for errors or ambiguities. If necessary, they will be returned to the student for corrections.
