Module and Degree Choices

Western’s modular degree structure is designed to offer you the flexibility to plan your degree according to your interests and goals. You can choose to broaden your areas of study by combining subjects from different departments and/or faculties or you can choose to focus on a specific subject area in even greater detail.

There are several possible modules of study within the MIT program that you may enter after first year. The possible module combinations depend on the degree in which you are enrolled.

Note: Students enrolled in a module in another faculty may not double count any courses towards an MIT or MPI degree.
