Faculty and student research at FIMS is characterized by the special attention given to information and communication technologies (ICTs), including their social, cultural, and political contexts. FIMS researchers approach this work from the perspective of the industries that produce information, news and entertainment; the cultures associated with them; and the technologies through which they are produced, distributed, and stored.
